STEP 1: Know What’s Actually Tested (Most Students Waste Time Studying the Wrong Stuff)

 

The truth? Algebra 1 finals are shockingly predictable.

Every test—no matter the school—pulls from the same core concepts:

Before studying, do this:

1. Look through the cheat sheet.

2. Circle every topic that looks unfamiliar, confusing, or you forgot.

3. Rank them 1–3:

    

   • 1 = I know this

   • 2 = I kind of remember this

   • 3 = I definitely need help here

STEP 7: Avoid Common Final Exam Mistakes
